ONE-TO-ONE ACCESS
When it comes to technology access, Saint John School has high expectations. As of 2011, every student in grades 7-12 carries his or her own laptop computer. The reason is simple No student should graduate from Saint John School without the skills he/she will need in college and in the work place. In lower grades, too, the student-to-computing-device ratio is high and classrooms have desktop computers and SmartBoards. Elementary students learn keyboarding, spelling, and writing skills via a variety of technology resources..

STUDENT USE
Giving students access to technology is not enough., so Saint John’s plan includes dozens of ways to direct student use of technology to ensure that hi-tech tools are being used to support education. In elementary and middle school classrooms, this can be as simple as deciding where to put desktop computers. Computer workstations are scattered throughout the room so that their use becomes a seamless part of everyday lessons, not a scheduled seclusion to the corner of the room.

STAFF USE
Faculty recognizes that today's students live in a digital world.  Faculty implement technology across the curriculum as an instructional tool.  Instructing students how to use technology in a constructive manner is paramount.  Teachers track student progress, share teaching ideas, and complete administrative tasks all via the school’s network.
