Elementary School

Saint John School offers elementary education for students in grades 1-6. Curriculum, instruction and assessment address a variety of learning styles and incorporate innovative activities to accommodate every unique learner.

Catholic ideals and Gospel values permeate instruction throughout the school day and are not limited to the students' religion class.

Saint John School provides liturgical and other worship opportunities for the school community. These include daily prayer, all school Masses, Class Masses, Sacrament of Reconciliation, Stations of the Cross, Living Rosary, May Crowning, and seasonal prayer services.

Ideal classroom sizes enable teachers to know the needs of individual students. There is a focus on involving parents in the growth and development of the child. A safe environment incorporating mutual respect among students, staff, and parents promotes optimal student learning and growth.

An essential element of the curriculum is the fine arts. Students are afforded the opportunity for weekly instruction in Art, Music, STEM, Spanish, and Physical Education.
