Health and Safety of Students
The health and safety of our students and their families and our faculty is always a priority for the school. In developing policies and practices we look to best practices from local and national agencies.
Catholic school education is founded on the belief that the education of children is a partnership with parents and the school. For this to happen there must be regular, ongoing two-way communication regarding the well-being of their children especially if their child is experiencing physical and/or socio-emotional illness.
The entire staff is trained to be aware of all the needs of children — educational, psychological, social-emotional, spiritual. School counselors are essential providers of services for students as is the school nurse. Saint John also partners with community agencies to provide additional support services for students.
