Title I

Title  Services are provided for students in Grades K-3.  These services are provided through Ashtabula City Schools and other districts that contract with Ashtabula City Schools.  This is a federal program and Saint John abides by all of the federal and state guidelines.  The purpose of these services is to help narrow learning gaps for our younger students.   Title I is a 100% Federally funded supplemental education program that provides financial assistance to local educational agencies to improve educational opportunities for children. Title I programs are designed to help children meet the state content and performance standards in reading, language arts, and mathematics.  Funds at Saint John provide for two Title I teachers and fnd Professional Development progrms such as Leader In Me
