Teaching is more than sharing knowledge; it is the privilege of helping students discover the gifts and abilities God has given them. In my sixth-grade math and science classroom, I strive to create a place where every student feels seen, valued, and capable of success. While students will continue learning math and science long after they leave my classroom, I have just one year to help shape their confidence, character, and love of learning. My hope is that every student leaves my classroom not only with a stronger understanding of the content but also as a kinder, more resilient, and more compassionate person than they were on the first day of school.
As part of the Saint John School community, I am grateful for the opportunity to integrate faith, academic excellence, and character into everyday learning. Beyond the classroom, I am honored to serve as one of our cross country coaches, where I enjoy encouraging students to persevere, support one another, and celebrate growth both on and off the course.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, crocheting, reading, and embracing opportunities to learn, create, and connect with others.
